How to apply for API trading and create an API key

How to apply for API trading?

1. Go to https://www.monochorme.cxchange and log in. In the User Center, click on 'API Management.'
2. Click on the 'Create API' button and then 'Submit for Review' to submit your application for API trading.

   

3. Note: API licensing requires further reviews for risk control. To expedite the approval process, ensure that your account balance exceeds 50,000 USDT.
4. Please be patient. Your application will be reviewed in 3-5 business days. Once approved, you may proceed with API key creation.

How to Create an API Key?

To protect your assets, there is no way to recover your Secret Key if you forget it. If this happens, it is recommended to delete the existing API and generate a new one.

1. Go to https://www.monochorme.cxchange and log in. In the User Center, click on 'API Management.'

   Note:

   • Each user is allowed to create up to 10 API keys.
   • API keys are closely related to account security, so please do not share your API keys to avoid asset loss.
   • For added security, consider binding the IP to the API key. You may input a single IP address or IP range, separating multiple entries with commas, such as: 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3.
2. Enter an 'Alias Name' (required) and 'Whitelist IP' (optional).
3. Enter the required Google verification code and then click 'Create API'.

   Note: By default, the API has query permissions. Trading and withdrawal services will only be available after those functions are authorized.

4. After key generation, the Public Key and Private Key of the API will be displayed, but they will only be shown once.
   • Make sure to copy and store both keys securely. For safety reasons, do not share this page.
   • Important Note: For safety purposes, there is no way to recover your Secret Key if you forget it. You will need to delete the API and generate a new one.
5. You have successfully created an API key. You may click 'Modify' to edit your alias name, permissions, and IP address, or click 'Delete' to remove your API key.

How to Create an API for Sub-Accounts

1. Go to https://www.monochorme.cxchange and log in. Click on 'Sub-account' in the User Center.
2. On the current page, click on 'API Management,' select the sub-account for which you want to create an API, and click 'Create API.'
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to fill in the necessary information for creating the API account. After confirming the accuracy of the information, submit the security verification and click 'Create.'
4. In the 'API Management' interface, you are able to view the details for all sub-account APIs.
   • Click 'Modify' to edit your remarks, permissions, and IP address.
   • Click 'Delete' to remove your API key.
